Council opposed housing plan

Town councillors have voiced their strong opposition to plans for the old police station site in Ware Road.
Local company Zog have submitted a planning application for 126 homes, an 80 bed hotel, 80 bed nursing home, shops and a nursery on the site.
The plan is almost identical to an earlier application that was refused by the District Council in February.
