General Election candidates announced
A formal notice of election and candidates has been posted by East Herts Council, after nominations closed at 4pm on Friday 7th June.
The following candidates will be standing for the constituency of Hertford & Stortford at the General Election on Thursday 4th July 2024.

Recent polling suggests that Conservative candidate Julie Marson will struggle to hold on to her seat, with Labour candidate Josh Dean predicted to take the seat by YouGov and Electoral Calculus.
New boundaries for parliamentary constituencies were produced as part of the 2023 boundary review process, and this saw two wards removed from the Hertford & Stortford constituency - Hertford Heath and Brickendon, which have become part of the Broxbourne constituency.
