Arts Trail returns for 2022

Hertford's annual Arts Trail returns this spring, bringing together local artists and the array of independent, high street businesses within the town as part of the Hertford Arts Festival. 

The trail which will take place from Saturday 9th April until Saturday 7th May 2022 and town centre based businesses are being urged to sign up to take part. 

The Trail attracts up to 40 talented artists who will showcase their work within a town centre location to exhibit and sell artwork for a month-long period.  

The pop-up art exhibition venues will be located around the town centre, including retailerts, bars and cafes, beauty salons, clothes retailers and gift shops.  

Town centre businesses can apply free of charge to become part of the Art Trail, simply by contacting the Town and Tourist Information Centre on 10992 584322 or by emailing tic@hertford.gov.uk.  

The Town Council have again partnered with Courtyard Arts to help promote the festival and source artists to take part.  

Artists will be allocated a prime town centre location in which to display and sell their work for the period of the trail. To apply artists should fill out the online application form by Saturday 5th March.
