Police appeal after Fore Street GBH
Police are appealing for information after a serious assault took place in Fore Street in the early hours of Sunday 22nd October.
The incident occurred at around 2.45am when the victim was subject to an unprovoked attack outside the Jungle Bar. The victim was punched in the face resulting in GBH level injuries.
The offender is described as a stocky black man, possibly in his thirties and wearing a white t-shirt. He made off in the direction of the Kebab Shop in Hertford High Street.
PC Sarah Skene of East Herts Local Crime Unit said: "I am appealing to anyone who might have witnessed the incident or spotted anyone acting suspiciously in the area.
"Can I ask that local businesses in the area check their CCTV footage for anything that may have been captured."
