Week-long arts festival gets revamp
Hertford's annual arts festival has been refreshed and rebranded for 2023 as HArts Fest, running from tomorrow Saturday 8th April to Saturday 15th Apri, promoting art and cultural local events, activities and exhibitions within Hertford and the local area.

The festival includes the Courtyard Arts and Hertford Art Society Open Exhibitions, as well as a children's art trail, run in partnership with local primary schools and Manic Ceramics in the Castle grounds.
New for 2023 is the introduction of art and culture inspired workshops, which will be hosted for free in the grounds of Hertford Castle. The workshops are intended to showcase local businesses and groups whilst introducing local people to art and culture based activities.
Chairman of Hertford Town Council's Development and Leisure Committee, Cllr Jane Sartin, said: "HArts Fest 2023 is set to be a fantastic celebration of art and culture in Hertford. We are lucky to have a wide range of organisations and businesses delivering cultural activities in the town, and Hertford Town Council will be working in partnership with them to ensure the first HArts Fest delivers a programme that can be enjoyed by people of all ages this spring."
