Teenager injured in Castle grounds assault
A teenage boy was taken to hospital after an attack by six youths in the grounds on Hertford Castle on the evening of Tuesday 13th September.

Police are now asking witnesses or anyone with information to contact them.
The incident took place around 6pm on the Tuesday evening when two teenage boys were walking in the Castle Grounds. The boys were approached by a number of youths, who then began to chase the pair, before throwing rocks at them. One of victims was then punched in the face numerous times.
PC Sabrina Di Trolio, who is investigating, said: "This was a violent and completely unprovoked attack. The victim was taken to hospital but thankfully did not sustain any serious injuries. It was reported that the group consisted of 6 males, estimated to be aged between 13 and 17 years old. They were not known to the victim.
"If you were in the area around the time specified and witnessed the incident taking place, or if you believe you may have seen the group, please get in contact with me as soon as possible. Any information, even something that may seem relatively minor or insignificant, could be key to progressing our investigation."
