Rail strikes to shut down services
Train operating companies are advising rail passengers to avoid all travel between Tuesday 21st to Sunday 26th June after the RMT union announced three 24-hour strikes on Tuesday 21st, Thursday 23rd and Saturday 25th June.

Greater Anglia, who run services from Hertford East, and Great Northern, who run services at Hertford North, are both advising people to only travel if absolutely necessary and expect severe disruption as services are set to heavily reduced next week.
As this Industrial Action is affecting the whole country, we will be unable to provide alternatives such as replacement buses and ticket acceptance with other local rail and bus operators. We recognise that it will be very difficult to travel and our advice, regrettably, is to travel only if your journey is absolutely necessary.

Transport for London are also expecting Tube strikes on Tuesday 21st June.
London Overground will only run from 07:30 until 18:30 on each day. Services that do run are expected to be very busy and may not be able to stop at all stations.
On Thursday 23rd and Saturday 25th, TfL will run as much of the network as possible, but disruption is expected on the Bakerloo line between Queens Park to Harrow & Wealdstone, London Overground, the District line - Richmond and Wimbledon branches, the Waterloo & City line, and the Elizabeth line.
Disruption on lines affected by Network Rail strike actions will continue into Friday 24th and Sunday 26th June. Passengers are advised to avoid making journeys on affected services until mid-morning each day.
