Arrests follow police raids

Police have arrested two men after properties were raided in Bengeo and on the Pinehurst Estate.

The armed raids were carried out in Divot Place and Manor Close, with local officers and a police helicopter taking part.

Two men were arrested and properties searched.

It is unclear what lead to the raids or what information the police were acting on.

In a statement on social media, police said: "We have made arrests and are carrying out searches at two properties in Hertford

"It follows warrants carried out earlier in Divot Place and Manor Close.

"Armed and local officers and the helicopter were in attendance.

"Two men are in custody."
