Local Musician Launches Debut EP

Local musician Mavigh has launched his first debut solo EP, named South Star.

Better known as multi-instrumentalist and producer Matthew Pugh, and one half of well respected duo The Twirling Canes, Mavigh's music is described as "Reminiscent of The Knife and Atoms For Peace" by fellow musician Matthew Davey. "South Star is intelligent, majestic and beautifully arranged" he says.

Commenting on his new EP, Matthew said: "I wanted to write some music that isn't metal or predominantly built around guitars".
