New Mayor To Be Installed

The Mayor of Hertford for 2018-19 will be Councillor Beryl Wrangles, who takes over the role from Cllr. Sue Dunkley.

The new Mayor will be installed at at ceremony at County Hall tomorrow evening.

The Mayor of Hertford is chosen each year by fellow Town Councillors, and formally installed to the office at the 'Mayor Making' ceremony each May. The Mayor represents the town at civic occasions, as well as at events held by the town's schools, clubs and charitable organisations.
