Town calendar launched

Hertford's 2020 calendar has been launched following a competition that saw 50 people submit 120 photos of the town.

The judging panel was made up of the Mayor of Hertford, Cllr Rosemary Bolton, Deputy Mayor Cllr Sally Newton and Hertford based Designer and Photographer Paul Crowley, who had the difficult task of selecting 13 photographs for the cover and each month. 

Paul Crowley also lent his expertise in the graphic design of the calendar ensuring the colour vibrancy was enhanced and modernising the look and feel of it. 

A private launch at Hertford Castle on Sunday 13th October saw winners awarded a copy of the calendar and a certificate signed and presented by the Mayor. 

The Mayor of Hertford, Cllr Rosemary Bolton said: "I am delighted with the finished calendar, which is beautiful and full of colour and vibrancy. It was incredibly difficult to choose between all the photographs entered. We have so many talented photographers in Hertford, thank you to those who submitted pictures and congratulations to the final winners".
 
The Official Hertford 2020 Calendar is available to buy at the Hertford Town and Tourist Information Centre for £10 each or two for £18.
