District council election results

Following yesterday's District Council election, seven Conservative councillors have been elected, along with one each from the Green party, Labour and Labour & Co-operative.

The result leaves Conservatives in control of the District Council, despite losing councillors. There are 50 seats on the council, with Conservatives now holding 40, with 6 Liberal Democrats, 2 Labour and 2 Greens.

Turnout varied from 28.1% in Sele Ward to 38% in Bengeo.
