House Prices Rise
Hertford property prices have increased 5.8% over the last year, according to property website Zoopla.
According to the website, the average price of a home is £529,782.
The average selling price of a flat in Hertford is £296,482 based on sales of 127 properties. Semi-detatched homes sold for £538,774 (123 homes) and detached for £878,179 (65 homes).
The value of flats and detached properties rose 5% whilst semi-detached fell by 2.5%.
Propetry values are based on Zoopla's proprietary Zed index whilst selling prices are based on Land Registry figures.
