Arrest after suspected arson attacks

A man has been arrested after two early morning bin fires in Hertford.

Herts Police report that two bins were set on fire, in St Andrews Street and Cowbridge. Damage was also caused to a business premises as a result.

A man aged in his 40s has been arrested in connection with the incidents and remains in police custody.

Officers have been making enquiries in the area this morning (Monday 12th January) as part of the investigation.
