Two taken to hospital after Bluecoats roundabout collision

Two people were taken to hospital after a car veered off the Bluecoats roundabout on Monday lunchtime (28th July).

Herts Fire and Rescue Service reported: "At approximately 12:30pm this afternoon, we responded to reports of a road traffic collision on Gascoyne Way in Hertford. The first crew arrived on scene within three minutes to find a single vehicle had left the carriageway and become precariously positioned above the underpass.

"Two occupants were inside the vehicle.

"Firefighters quickly stabilised the vehicle to ensure the safety of those involved and to allow for assessment by the East of England Ambulance Service before assisting with their removal."

The road reopened shortly before 3pm.
