Harlow Bus Service Withdrawn
The 424 bus service between Hertford and Harlow is being permanently withdrawn from Friday 19th April.

Trustybus operates 9 services between the two towns, with the 07:25 and 08:30 serving commuters travelling from Hertford to Harlow.
The only remaining service to Harlow is now the 724, which runs hourly from Hertford bus station, with only two morning commute services before 9am at 06:55 and 07:52.
The withdrawal comes despite local councils encouraging residents to make more use of public transport. The level of parking provided by new housing developments is partly dictated by the availability of public transport. This is often used by developers to justify inadequate parking provision.
The County Council's recently consulted A414 Corridor Strategy talks about improving east-west public transport links, although the council has little control over public transport providers.
Local councillors were approached for comment but were unable to respond due to the forthcoming local elections.
