Serious Accident Closes A414 in Town Centre

A two car collison has closed the westbound carriageway of the A414 London Road.
The collison occurred shortly before 4:30pm and is causing major disruption the town centre, Ware Road, Gallows Hill, Stansted Road, Rush Green and the A414/A10.
Fire, Police and ambulance services are attending the incident, which occurred adjacent the fire and ambulance station. An air ambulance also landed in the fire station yard.
Police are advising motorists to take alternative routes and avoid the town.
