All the candidates standing for the town council

Election for Hertford Town Council take place on Thursday 4th May with 42 candidates standing in six town council wards.

Hertford is currently represented by 9 conservative councillors, along with two Labour, three Green and two Liberal Democrats.

The town council is responsible for neighbourhood planning, cemeteries, allotments, the town and tourist information centre, events promoting the town centre, and town centre CCTV. The council is also a statutory consultee in local plannig applications. 

For town council elections, Hertford is split in to six electoral areas called wards. Those standing for election on Thursday 4th May in each ward are listed below. 

Bengeo North

This ward will elect 4 members to the town council
