Bengeo football club raises £3000
Bengeo Tigers Football Club have so far raised over £3.000 through the East Herts Lottery since joining in 2019.

The funds will help increase the number of girls joining their development group (age 4-6 years), make improvements to the clubhouse and keep membership fees down.
The club has one of the lowest membership fees in the area thanks to the funds raised via the East Herts lottery, which it also uses to help support families in financial difficulty, to ensure their children continue playing for the club.
Speaking on behalf of Bengeo Tigers Football Club, Chairman Andy Sheen, who is also the lead coach for the Under 12's, said: "As a club we are proud to have one of the lowest membership fees in the area, which has been made possible because of the funds raised via the East Herts Lottery. I would like to thank all the individuals who play the lottery on a monthly basis and choose us as a cause to support."
Executive Member for Communities at East Herts Council, Cllr Jonathan Kaye said: "The East Herts Lottery was set up for exactly this reason – to help support local community groups, charities, voluntary organisations and sports clubs – and I’m delighted to learn how Bengeo Tigers Football Club are using this to help keep membership fees down and support families in financial difficulties."
The East Herts Lottery was set up in 2019 to help local charities, voluntary organisations, sports clubs and community groups generate much needed extra funding. So far the lottery has helped to raise over £151,000 in funding for local clubs, charities and organisations.
