Bengeo traffic calming measures proposed

A 20mph zone and speed cushions are being proposed to calm traffic using residential streets in Bengeo.

Statutory notices about the measures have been posted in roads east of Bengeo Street, including Parker Avenue, Revels Road, Rib Vale, New Road and Boundry Drive.

The proposals also include the installation of speed cushions in New Road.  These are shallower and longer that speed bumps and do not span the entire roadway.

Roads to the west of Bengeo Street are already covered by a 20mph speed limit.

Objections to the proposals can be made in writing or by email to tro.team@hertfordshire.gov.uk by Thursday 27th January 2022 stating the grounds on which they're made.
