Home damaged in Fire
Up to eight fire tenders attended a house fire in Hagsdell Road during the early hours of Wednesday morning.

Emergency services attended the scene shortly after 11pm after a fire broke out in the roof of the detached house.
Up to eight fire tenders and two specialist units worked overnight to bring the fire under control, eventually extinguishing it around 8am this morning.
The occupants of the house were unhurt but the property has suffered considerable damage.
Fire services were still on site at lunchtime today (9th September) with three appliances and a rescue tender seen in the street. A fire service drone was also seen surveying the roof space.
The cause of the fire has not yet been determined.
