Stevenage trains return
Direct rail services to Stevenage will resume next Sunday (2nd August) when a new platform at Stevenage station comes in to use.

A rail replacement service has been running between Hertford North and Stevenage since May 2019, with northbound trains terminating at Watton-at-Stone.
Construction of the new platform at Stevenage will increase capacity on the East Coast Main Line and has involved laying 2 kilometres of new track and points, embankments works, signalling and modifications to bridges.
Paul Codd, Senior Stakeholder Manager at Govia Thameslink Railway, said: "We would like to thank customers for their patience while the infrastructure was built. We know the rail link will be popular for local services. We hope as more customers return to the railway in the months ahead, they take advantage of the improved connectivity to Stevenage and across the wider East Coast Main Line to other destinations such as Cambridge."
Services to Stevenage wil run seven days a week with a frequency of two trains per hour.
