Private GP opens in town centre

A private GP surgery has opened in the town centre, above the premises of Rossi's Attic.

The new practice is run by Dr.Katie Parkinson, who has previously worked at Wallace House and The Rivers Hospital. Dr.Parkinson also runs a health centre at Haileybury College.

Services include health checks, ECG, vaccinations, blood tests, cervical screening, ear syringing and private prescriptions, as well as referrals into secondary care.

The price for a 15 minute surgery consultation is £80, with home visits priced at £150.
