Bircherley Green Work Starts June
Building work to redevelop Bircherley Green shopping centre is to start at the end of June, following an announcement by project managers at Wrenbridge.

Phase one of the project to rejuvenate the site will begin in late June, with the construction of the Premier Inn hotel, which is planned to open in September 2019.
The second phase of the project will begin in the Autumn and will include retail and 70 residential units, with completion expected in early 2020.
John McHale, director of Wrenbridge said: "As always Wrenbridge remain committed to keeping any disruption to a minimum by liaising with all stakeholders including East Herts and Herts County Council. Wrenbridge will report on progress again in early June ahead of the works starting on Phase 1."
Bircherley Green is owned by the Diageo Pension Fund and managed by Saville's. The shopping centre was originally built in the mid 1980s on the site of the former bus station.
