Skills & Learning Centre offers free tasters
Hertford's new Skills & Learning Centre in Fore Street is offering a range of free taster sessions this week.

The taster sessions run from Tuesday until Friday and include Photography for Improvers (Tuesday 1-2pm), An Introduction to Historical Arts (Wednesday 10am-12pm), Rag Rugging For Beginners (Friday 9:30am - 12pm) and Upcycling - Rags to Bags (Friday 1pm - 3pm). No booking is necessary and members of the public are welcome to just turn up.
The centre is owned and run by Community Voluntary Services for Broxbourne & East Herts and includes courses run by the county council's Adult & Family Learning Service. The premises are located between Albany Radio and Jenners Newsagent in what used to be the premises of CallPrint.
Other paid courses from HAFLS include 12-week courses in Spanish & Italian (£100), 6-week photography courses (£80), Drawing & Painting (10 weeks, £150) and Creative Frame Loom Weaving (10 weeks, £125).
CVSBEH also offer courses on Digital Skills, Living in The Uk and How To Live & Eat Well. More about these courses can be found on the CVSBEH website.
