Arrests after pub assault

Three men have been arrested after an assault at The Two Brewers in Port Vale on Friday evening.

Police were called at around 7.30pm following reports of an altercation between a group of men, one of whom sustained cuts to his head.
Local reports suggest the victim was attacked with a glass and needed 30 stitches.
A police helicopter was deployed and three men were arrested on suspicion of GBH in connection with the incident:
- A 33-year-old man from London. He has been released on bail until 21 July.
- A 30-year-old man from Watton at Stone. He has been released on bail until 21 July.
- A 31-year-old man from Abbots Langley. He has been released on bail until 25 July.
The victim has since been discharged from hospital.
