North Road to close for resurfacing
North Road will close for 8 nights between St.Andrew's Church and the Welwyn Road roundabout to allow resurfacing to take place.

Contractors will completely replace the existing road surface, which is in poor condition, before repainting the road markings.
The works have been timed to co-ordinate with works being carried out by Affinity Water, reducing the overall disruption for residents and road users. Contractors wil also take the opportunity to clear overgrown vegetation, clean out the roadside drains and carry out other minor works.
The works will start on Monday 3rd June and end on Tuesday 11th June.
To minimise disruption for road users, the work will take place overnight, with the road being closed between 8pm and 5am. Fully-signed diversions will be in place.
Phil Bibby, Hertfordshire County Council's Cabinet Member for Highways and the Environment, said:
"We know this is an important main road, which is why we're carrying out these works overnight to minimise disruption.
I hope people will bear with us while we carry out this resurfacing. I know that there have been a lot of roadworks in Hertford recently and it can be frustrating. But hopefully residents will agree that we're improving the town as a place to live and travel in."
