Bengeo History Exhibition
Bengeo's history exhibition is back again this year, focusing on people, businesses and clubs.

Entitled "At Work, Rest and Play", the exhibition will include photos of shops, sports and social events from Bengeo's past.
Last year's exhibition was "A Century of Change" focusing on the years 1840 to 1940.
As in past years, there will be a wealth of photos charting Bengeo's history and the characters that make up its recent past.

Marilyn Taylor, the organiser and curator commented "the exhibition will be an opportunity for Bengeo's residents to find out about some of the people who have lived in Bengeo, the businesses, clubs, societies etc. Also many old photos with modern comparisons and information on the old railway line from 'Cowbridge' station through the back of Port Vale. Old maps are also on show from 1843 onwards"
The exhibition takes place at St.Leonard's Church over the next three weekend's - Sat/Sun 4/5th, 11/12th and 18/19th from 10am to 4pm. Entry is free, although donations are encouraged.
