iPhones stolen in CEX raid

Police have recovered a haul of iPhones after thieves jumped the counter at CEX in Maidenhead Street last Friday (12th June).

Officers were called to the CEX shop after four suspects had reportedly jumped over the counter and helped themselves to over £4,000 worth of iPhones.

CCTV picked up a suspect vehicle on cloned plates and thanks to a tracker on the stolen phones, police were able to follow the signal to Turnford.

They located the suspects' car with the phones still inside. The suspects had already made off, but left evidence behind for officers to work with, including clear CCTV images.

Enquiries are ongoing.
