Horns Mill man guilty of multiple offences

A Hertford man has pleaded guilty to multiple offences including vehicle crime and burglary.

Terry Fryatt, 37, of Horns Close, appeared at Hatfield Magistrates’ Court, charged with a list of offences:
- Five counts of interference with a motor vehicle (committed in Hertford between Sunday 15th and Tuesday 24th June).
- Four counts of theft from a motor vehicle (committed in Hertford between Saturday 14th and Sunday 22nd June).
- Theft of a motor vehicle (committed in Hertford on Tuesday 17th June).
- Four counts of shed burglary (committed in Hertford between Tuesday 27th March and Tuesday 24th June).
- Possession of a knife in a public place on Tuesday 24th June.
- Common assault of an emergency worker.
- Fraud by false representation (using a stolen debit card on Sunday 15th June).
He pleaded guilty to all counts and was remanded into custody ahead of a sentencing hearing at St Albans Crown Court on Friday 18th July.
Fryatt was arrested by the Neighbourhood Policing Team on Tuesday 24th June after officers saw him with a knife.
Subsequent charges were secured through joint working with the East Herts Local Crime Unit.
