Woman hurt in road rage incident

A woman was dragged along the road and pushed to the ground in a road rage incident in Ware Road on Sunday.

Police are appealing for witnesses, information and dash cam footage following the altercation that involved a man and woman at around 2.35pm on Sunday (13th April).

As the man drove away in his car, the woman, aged in her 50s, was reportedly dragged along the road and pushed to the ground.

Officers arrested a 31-year-old man from Bedfordshire on suspicion of assault causing actual bodily harm. He has since been released on police bail pending further enquiries.

Investigator Jayne Atkin, from the Case Investigation Team, said: "We are continuing to establish the full circumstances of this incident and I’m appealing for any witnesses to please come forward.

"Did you see what happened? Additionally, if you have a dash cam fitted and were driving in the area at the time, please check it because you may have captured some important footage.
