Homes plan for Rotunda

Plans to convert offices at the Rotunda building in Ware Road to homes have been submitted to East Herts Council.

The proposals include alterations to the existing building including new and replacement windows, infill walls, replacement of part of the roof, new roof lights and the construction of a cycle store.

The plans will provide 22 new homes made up of 19 single bed flats and 3 2-bed flats. Each flat would be provided with a single parking space.

The Rotunda was built in the early 1990s following the demolition of The Warehouse pub, which was previously known as The Plough.

A decison on the plans is expected by Spring 2025.
