BEAM footbridge reopens

Foot bridges linking Mill Bridge to the St.Andrew Street car park have reopened following the redeveloment of the theatre and replacement of the bridges.

The bridges have been closed since work started on redevelpment of the theatre two years ago.

Despite the new venue re-opening in August both bridges have remained shut during replacement.

The main bridge crosses the weir whilst the smaller bridge crosses a channel linking the old millstream to the river.
