Commercial Units Refused

Planning permission has been refused for commercial units on a disused site in Ware Road.

The District Council's Development Control Committee accepted a planning officer's recommendation that the plans be thrown out because the proposals were not approriate for an out-of-town site and not in keeping with the surrounding area.

Councillors were also concerned at the lack of detail and poor design.
