Councillor Suspended Again

Thursday 8 April 2010

Councillor John Hedley has been suspended from the Town Council for a second time.

The three month suspension was imposed after he was found to have breached the council's code of conduct, following a complaint by the town clerk. He was accused of being disruptive and behaving inappropriately at public meetings.

The action follows a earlier suspension from the council in 2008 for bullying and abusive behaviour.

Mr Hedley was also suspended from East Herts District Council last year.
