Blackbirds Bottle Attacker Bailed

A man has been arrested and bailed after an attack on Saturday in The Blackbirds.

Police are appealing for information and witnesses to the attack, which occurred at around 12.20am. A 24-year-old man was hit around the head with a bottle causing a cut to his head.

PC Simon Ball, investigating, said: "Incidents such as this do not happen often in Hertford, however, it was a nasty attack and we are keen for any witnesses or anyone with information to get in contact with police."

“It is believed that while the 24-year-old man was being treated by paramedics, two men have spoken to him and said they witnessed the incident. We are very keen to speak to these two men. If this is you please contact us quoting crime reference A1/10/362.”
