Museum Kids Competition

A competition is being held to find a young person to officially open the refurbished museum at the end of February.

The museum is inviting all children in and around Hertford, aged 6 – 12 to take part in the competition.

The winner will be treated like a VIP and will 'cut the ribbon' at 10am on Saturday 27th of February, and announce the new Hertford Museum as open as well as a souvenir photograph.

The museum wants children to write a short story or poem about Hertford. It could be about the museum, a favourite place in Hertford, or things to do in Hertford for fun.
